AP2E, an innovative SME specializing in online gas analysis systems, joined the German Durag Group in 2018. This integration required the modernization of its information system (IS) in order to meet the group's standards and support its growth.
AP2E chose the solution SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud for its flexibility, its ability to evolve and its alignment with industry best practices. KPC was chosen as a partner for its SAP expertise for over 10 years, its geographical proximity and its understanding of business challenges.
Customer issues
Prior to the project, AP2E was using an ERP solution (CIEL Gestion Commerciale) that was ill-suited to its international needs. The company suffered from a lack of overall visibility into its operations, relevant KPIs, and the IT system's inability to evolve. It was also necessary to harmonize information systems within the Durag group and adopt a modern and innovative solution aligned with AP2E's strategy. The lack of process standardization made adoption difficult for the engineering staff. The heterogeneity and volume of data complicated communication with other entities (suppliers, partners, customers, and the parent company).
The solution proposed by KPC
AP2E opted for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public, a modern and pre-configured solution including industry best practices. This choice was motivated by AP2E's desire to acquire a more powerful, faster tool capable of covering a wider range of information and flow management (accounting, production, HR, etc.).
